What's NEW with Netrepreneur and Megapreneur Magazine

Sooo.... it's time again.  After a quite a few months of hibernation, we Red Logos Publishing has finally fixed the mistakes of the past and will be coming up with a bigger and better issue.

What is new with Netrepreneur and Megapreneur?

A lot.  Let me count the ways.

Number one, new look:  Okay, so we had a real cool look for a business magazine, but somehow, we haven't refined and perfected it yet.  Thanks to our Art Director, Sherwin Llames and his group, I could say we have already perfected its look and it is what you all should watch out for this coming issue.

Number two, increased clamor: Despite our absence from releasing our test issue last quarter of 2009, we have been surprised by emails and queries as to when our next issue will be out.

Number three, new awesome additional contributors: We already have a highly credible roster of contributors from here and overseas but we are very thankful for the support of three biggie-wiggies in the business community: Money-Magnet Multi-Millionaire John Calub of John Calub Training, Inc., Dyan Ramos, a Business Educator of  Create Abundance 2020™ International Network and Mr. Rudolf Kotik of RK Franchise Consultancy who developed more than 350 companies into franchise systems.

Number four, very inspiring themes: Netrepreneur showcases two MLM companies that have proven that their products are 'miracle' products that have astonishingly changed the health and combated near death of their sick distributors. Megapreneur talks about self-made men; how they started breaking their piggy banks and being their own delivery guy, driver and President of their own companies that now rewarded them with millions.

Number five, wider distribution:  Apart from the magazine stands in malls, bookstores and 24/7 convenience stores, our distribution is has now developed and improved its subscription database in the different colleges and universities offering business and entrepreneurship courses.  Of course, our direct distribution to networking and direct selling companies as well as to the members of the different trainings by our contributor business trainers.

Number six, AND A LOT LOT MORE!

LEGEND OF SOLILOQUY - Part Deux

It is just about the time that the Queen Phoenix, Firewings,  rose from her ashes once more.  Her career is doing good.  Her family is stable.  Her hopes and dreams are slowly realized after all the hell-and-beyond years of her life.

But the metamorphosis is yet to be completed.

In her years of travel and journey she has seen the unexpected.  She has been aware of things.  She has trained herself to foresee what lies beyond.  She has learned to brace and shield herself for potential pain and she has taught herself to be who she wants today or later or tomorrow without showing her wings or the real fire that lies in her.

And so she lived her life a day at a time meeting people, living her life with every resurrection.  And at the death of every phase of her life that needs to be buried, she lives once more renewed and readier for the world.  Connections are formed.  Some stayed.  Some lost.  Some create pain and some do not; just simply forgotten.

It's just another 500 years to die and resurrect anyway.  It will be another just-the-same-next 500 year existence with lessons learned and pain buried.

But after this particular rebirth when Firewings have already thought of her strong and ready, her heart pounds loudly.  The sight of another Phoenix hovering from a great distance with his fiery wings and silent movement did not escape her keen eyes from hundreds of different species birds flocking together in a somewhat flight pattern.  A swooping-down pattern heading towards her, most of them with claws extended, almost grabbing her.

Firewings closed her eyes and waited for the inevitable.  After all, she will not die.  Scarred a little but not die.  And if she did, she will live once more.  But still pain is something she still have no mastery over of.

The claws that seized her were, she realized was not at all painful.  She seemed to be swimming with the breeze, seemingly as if she were flying on her own.

The pounding of her heart is almost so sweet, eradicating all physical senses, transcending time, transcending space, drowning all sound around that the pounding of her heart intensified almost painful from sweet as if a giant hand constricts against its pounding walls.  And almost instantly she felt another pounding synchronizing with her heart emitting warmth she has never felt before.

Wondering, she opened her eyes and into hers was looking, very closely now were very kind eyes almost reaching into the very depths of her heart and its pounding started once more, forgetting all the other claws that wanted to claim her. The pounding of her heart magnified dramatically getting stronger and noisier with every beat.  She saw the other Phoenix's face with eyes now staring ahead towards the path of his flight carefully scanning any obstacle or danger that they could face.

His claws were holding her very tightly that she would never slip off him yet she only feel warmth and peace.  They were gliding gently like a dance that felt so different; but felt so right.

He now dives low, fast but careful to finally set her down.  As they almost reach the ground, he looked into her eyes and everything brightened as the fire from their bodies got bigger and intense that made the eyes of those who saw them temporarily brightened as if their supreme force, the sun, had chose to go down from its majestic throne from the sky.  Their wings flew as one and the beating of their hearts, together.

But like a dance, that flight must end.  And as he lowered Firewings down, the Phoenix song of love emanated from his chest, a song of longing and yet of connection and hers answered a duet of a song she never knew nor heard came from her, at least not for a very, very, very long time that she almost forgot possible.

As the Phoenix placed her down gently, Firewings feet touched the ground and felt his claws grow softer as he released her.  They looked again but just briefly and he flew away; quiet, gliding, majestic.  A mystery; an enigma.

He flew far, far away and yet Firewings could still see him; far yet near.  Perched on a high mountain nest of twigs and ashes from its last resurrection, his eyes look far.  For in his heart now sings Firewings' song and in Firewings, his.

Now, the Legend of Soliloquy may become the Duet of Twinflames.

And so, the flight of the Firebirds will begin...

THE LEGEND OF SOLILOQUY

Eversince I could remember, as early as three years old, I watched a cartoon special right off RPN 9 [the prime local network in the 70’s to 80’s, with all their MacGyver, Chips, Million Dollar Man, Wonder Woman, Hawaii Five-O and other canned TV shows that then dominated the tube]. I could even remember it was Yule Season and the cartoon show showcased a Christmas story of beautiful long-tailed bird that cried tears with healing capacities, a melodious voice, a flowing tail and fiery yet not intimidating wings that moved and flew with the grace of royalty. The bird created a big impact in my life. I am blessed with a very photographic memory and this cartoon program was one of my very vivid recollections despite that very young age.
It was later when I learned that the bird was a Phoenix; a mystical bird with origins in Egypt, from the Sun God Ra that dies every five centuries and rises renewed from its ashes.

I knew, even in my young mind that I am a personification of the Phoenix. And the more I learned about the bird, the more I am convinced that I am a Phoenix with the capacity to heal, receive a bullet for someone I bestow my unconditional loyalty and have an immortal disposition especially when principles are at stake. I always die in the midst of fighting for people and fighting for situations that entail a solid undertaking yet always resurrect for yet another battle; more often than not for the people I love and protect.

But as beautiful and as grand as the bird, the Phoenix is very lonely. It is doomed to soliloquy.

It is destined to be alone.

The Phoenix was created to live for others yet it cannot not live for itself.

The Phoenix exists for Messianic purposes, yet it doesn’t have the ability to save itself.

The Firebird creates relationships yet relationships leave it when the purpose for the relationship has been served.

Whether soliloquy is a legend that created the existence of the Phoenix or whether it is a curse to complement its existence for greatness, this bird has accepted it.

But it does not erase the pain of loneliness of being alone.

The Phoenix wings serve as its defense. In fiery radiance they spread and engulf itself in the warmth and security of its flames. It is an absolute embrace to brace itself from impending pain and sadness.

The Phoenix has a great capacity to love and therefore accepts that because of its great capacity to love, there is an equal greatness of sacrifice and personal pain to be endured. But the Phoenix does these wholeheartedly; that in its personal pain is an equal joy knowing that in its aloneness, others can be happy.

The Phoenix has never been good at separations. Whether it be temporary or permanent. But if the separation is needed to make someone happier, there is joy in feeling the other’s happiness. For the Phoenix, that is more than enough.

Separations are scary for the Phoenix. Because there is fear that someone might not return. Or maybe the distance can change the togetherness to create un-togetherness. Something that seems the same but is not quite like what it was before.

But then again, if this situation is needed for the betterment of the other, the happiness of the other offsets the personal pain of the Phoenix. Because for the Phoenix, it is better to see the other happy and whole than continue where the other is at with only half a disposition. That, for the Phoenix is more painful than separation; simply because it cannot bear if the other has pain and stagnation and unable to soar.

In this case, the Phoenix is happier on the note that it made the other soar higher for wholeness.
The Phoenix never learned to rein in its emotional attachments. Whether it be for family, for friends, for partners, for lovers or even for superiors or subordinates or colleagues. It gives its all. Sometimes more. Or more than what it could give even if it hurts so much. Even if it is disappointing. That no matter what you do, it is either it is not enough or the object of love does not care or does not rectify his or her mistakes.

Amidst the pain, at least the Phoenix takes the risk of loving. That’s what makes the Phoenix free; for the one who risks is free.

Maybe Firewings shall fly away for a while and cry its tears of healing. Maybe to heal the Self.
When she will return, no one knows. Maybe after she has risen from the ashes.

But until then, her wings shall serve as the only refuge she has right now. Embracing herself into a cocoon of protective fire until the feeling of soliloquy dissipates once more.

For how long, time can either be an ally or an adversary.

This is Firewings. In her own legend of soliloquy…
